According to Pokernews.com there are a number of notable players still left in the 77-person current field of Event #45 NL Hold’em (6-handed). Here are some:

The competition at the 180-man SNG tournaments on Pokerstars has gotten better over the last year or so that I have been playing in them. I play the $20+$2 ones because I love the fact that you can make $1000 in about 4 hours time. These are a great value for a low-roller* like myself’s bankroll. *(low roller meaning $1-2, $2-5 NL and $20-$100 SNG and MTTs, not talking micro-limits or anything here). Read More »

Sometimes when I amass a large amount of chips in a tournament, a hand will come up where I forget that winning more chips means less than losing some chips. It is very easy to turn a big stack into an average stack in just one or two hands. Read More »

I was going to post a link to one of my favorite places to play the guaranteed tournaments online today. I decided against it when after waiting almost a MONTH AND A HALF for a cash out from them, I will not recommend their site until the cash out issues are fixed. Check out the video.

A nice break from the monotony of Sit N Go’s is needed every once in a while. Too many times, players will burn themselves out playing 1-table tournaments, and eventually auto-pilot can kick in.
