chipCardplayer.com reported today that Chip Reese has passed away at the all too young age of 56.

According tho the article, Reese was taken to the hospital with symptoms of pneumonia, and died shortly thereafter. What a shame, as Chip seemed like a great guy.

I, like many others didn’t know him personally, but his contributions to the game of Poker willnever be forgotten, especially since he basically “wrote the book” (or at least the Chapter) on 7-card Stud.

R.I.P. Mr. Reese. I’m sure Johnny Moss has a seat ready to go for you in the big game upstairs.
