A news story was broken yesterday about a very well-known, highly respected figure in the casino gaming industry. Steve Forte worked a s a consultant to many major casinos, in regard to security issues and cheating. Well Steve took all of his knowledge and devised an incredibly intricate scam to try and separate some high-stakes Poker players from their bankrolls. I don’t understand how people in these respectable positions can possibly make some of the decisions they make. Of course the number one reason is MONEY; but really, doesn’t this guy make enough money being a consultant to some of the top casino companies in the gaming industry? There has to be a giant underlying story behind this. There is no way of knowing if this is the first time something like this has happened, or what the true circumstances were, surrounding this incident.

The lesson is this: Be careful which games you play in. Especially at higher stakes. Money makes people do extremely crazy things. Good Luck at the tables.
